NASK guarantees Internet access service parameters across the entire NASK core network. Ongoing usage monitoring of core links and points of contact with other Internet networks ensures a high quality of service.
Our portfolio is tailored to the business needs of different groups of customers:
- Enterprise Internet Access is a service for business customers,
- Premium Internet Access is dedicated to customers that require the highest level of reliability and performance,
- Academic Internet Access provides Internet Access for academic clients from Warsaw
- IP transit services (BGP) are for customers that route traffic to and from their own network. They are, for example:
- domestic IP transit - provides connection to Polish Internet resources via NASK links to national operators,
- domestic IP transit light - provides connection to Polish Internet resources via NASK links to national operators (except for the TPNET network TP SA),
- international IP transit - provides connection to global Internet resources via NASK links to international operators,
- IP DE-CIX international transit - provides connection to global Internet resources via NASK links to international operators using the DE-CIX Internet exchange in Frankfurt am Main (over 75 international networks).
If required, Service Level Agreements can apply to all our services. Depending on the type of service, an SLA can guarantee such parameters as:
- monthly service availability,
- average monthly packet delays,
- average monthly packet loss,
- failure response time,
- failure repair time.
Should NASK fail to provide the guaranteed service parameters, the customer receives a discount.
NASK guarantees reliable Internet access via the NASK network using:
- Multiple points of contact with other operators, which enables optimized traffic routing with short, direct packet routes to Internet resources. NASK has direct points of contact with e.g.:
- domestic operators: TPNET (TP S.A.), GTS Energis, ATMAN (ATM S.A.), Exatel, POL 34/622 (PIONIER), TK Telekom, Crowley, Pro Futuro,
- international operators: TeliaSonera International Carrier, T-Systems (Deutsche Telekom); over 120 peering connections at the DE-CIX Internet exchange in Frankfurt am Main,
- content providers: Google, BBC, Lycos, Akamai.
- NASK's participation in polish Internet exchange points: WIX, PL-IX
- Redundant links in the NASK core network that enable uninterrupted service availability even during potential link or core network device failures.
NASK operates its own 1,5 Gbps international link to Frankfurt am Main.
Most of our customers are medium and large businesses, content providers and Internet service providers. Academic organizations in Warsaw are another important and numerous customer group.
