The Institute of Control and Computation Engineering (ICCE/IAiIS) The NASK Research Division closely cooperates with the Institute of Control and Computation Engineering (ICCE/IAiIS) at Warsaw University of Technology. Both Laboratories of the Research Division work within the community of professors, PhD, and MSc students of ICCE, while being part of the NASK organization. This allows efficient research using specialized equipment and necessary network infrastructure.
The NASK/PW Biometric Laboratory In September 2003, cooperation between NASK and the Institute of Control and Computation Engineering of Warsaw University of Technology (PW) had led to establishing the NASK/PW Biometric Laboratory. The Laboratory is situated in Room 518A of the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology building. The laboratory is very important both to NASK and PW, as it popularizes biometrics among students of graduate and doctoral studies, and thus provides highly specialized research staff. The NASK/PW Laboratory is the first biometric laboratory in Poland with such a comprehensive approach to biometrics.
The Polish Committee for Normalization Prof. A. Pacut is a member of the KT182 Technical Committee for System Security and Data Protection. This allows tracking and influencing ISO standardization with regard to biometrics.
