The diagram below presents an example of a three-point videoconference between Poland (two videoconferencing parties in different cities) and the United States. In addition, the video content is streamed over the Internet: the audio and video signal is transformed into an audio-video stream in real-time and published on the Web.
The environment:
- conference rooms in Poland (each in a different city): one for 160 people, the other for 60 people,
- two connection methods (IP and ISDN)—the method used actually was ISDN (4 * BRI = 512 Kbps),
- room lighting,
- a sound engineer,
- a video engineer,
- video recording (two cameras and operators on each site).
